In the remote Val Fex, a blacksmith forges knives inspired by the mountains that shaped his family for generations — as the valley around him is quietly transformed.

A British boy and a Portuguese dog arrive in a small Swiss village in the Engadine valley. The village has its own language, its own rhythms, its own ancient marks carved into the walls of its buildings. The dog settles in immediately. The boy takes a little longer.
